The husband & wife team
​
With close to a decade of experience working with F&B businesses and 5 years consulting, Cheryl has completed projects ranging from home bakers’ first brick-and-mortar stores to full scale fine dining restaurants. Notably, in 2016 she created Singapore’s first crash course for aspiring F&B entrepreneurs, which was ticketed and held monthly ever since. During the pandemic and consequent ban on nightlife establishments opening to the public, she conducted talks for the Singapore Nightlife and Bar Association teaching its members how to pivot their businesses to F&B so they could operate.
Having spent his career in commercial roles across various industries, Muralee prides himself on helping clients solve their pain and drive growth. With a customer-centric focus and a consultative approach, he has helped organisations including NUS, NTU and a variety of financial institutions in the region achieve their business objectives. Having experience setting up and running an F&B import and distribution business has also primed him to help Secret Sauce clients get their businesses off the ground.

A la carte services
When we first started in this field, there was no one in the market providing a la carte consulting services. The F&B consultants in the industry focused on turnkey solutions – end-to-end services taking care of everything from branding to recipe development. We saw a group of underserved individuals: first-time F&B entrepreneurs who have enough on their plates starting their businesses. Turnkey solutions are too comprehensive (and expensive) for them, but the clock is ticking once the lease is signed and they cannot afford to make mistakes in getting their licences.Â
